I bought mine second hand a made a number of modifications and upgrades. Great fun, my lad is 4 and we go out with the TRX4 and also an Outback 2, which I’m also in the process of upgrading. It’s got a lengthened wheelbase and D90 hardbody, and since these pics the same bumpers as the TRX4.

Nice, I fancied a 90 but couldn’t resist the TRX4.

I went for the chassis kit and a sport body, so I have the diff locks and 2 speed g/box.

Having read it, I turned the front bumper mount upside down and fitted a front mount on the rear, so the bumpers could be raised. I then cut the bumpers so they could be pushed further in too.

Also Boom Krait extra wide alloy wheels. I've tried the hi lift dampers, but it now can't diagonally climb the steps in the garden without rolling. So it's going back to std ones, which are going to be modified to move easier.

Just had a TRX-4 sport kit delivered today. Aiming for a nice slow build as it's been a long time since I've built a kit and I want to savour it.

It's a slippery slope to a 4WD, 4WS, MOA full rock-crawler.
