Progress:

  • 2 completely stripped down, parts found, cleaned and rebuilt
  • The bike given a good clean, chain put back and an exhaust fitted (not shown in this particular photo)
  • The sub cleaned (was pretty gross), components put back (from some of my own spares) and the other modules put back - And the compressed air bit works a treat too smile
4 more to go. And the airport. And the other undersea thing. I'm actually beginning to wish I hadn't started (!)

Oooo that's interesting- I got given a carrier bag full of random Lego and I recognise lots of the bits of that set in there- defo have the engine cylinders, canopy, droids etc. will have to find the instructions and see if I can build it up.

It's taken sodding ages, but the airport is nearly built. Most of the parts are there, but the luggage vehicle and the stairs seem to be missing and I've been at this too long. I fear some of the parts have accidentally ended up in my "misc" box which is too big to be messing around with right now

However, the bleaching has had good results - not perfect and the lack of sunshine has taken it's toll, but before:
