Enough of the old boats already. Can you do a plane?
Judging by the sheer amount of plane models displayed just on this thread, do you not think you are more than well catered for? Evangelion said:
It's not an old boat, it's an old ship. The little ones on the deck, they're boats.
I'm not a great fan of the 'beached' look, is it buildable as a waterline model?
No, they are full bulkheads, but there's nothing stopping someone cutting the bulkheads at waterline level, would certainly make the planking easier!I'm not a great fan of the 'beached' look, is it buildable as a waterline model?
A test piece of track I have built to try out painting techniques before painting the track on the layout. Scale is 1/19th, 32mm gauge. The sleepers I cut from off cuts of pine, the track clips are lost was brass castings from masters made by a friend of mine, rail is off the shelf from Tenmill.

Another scan of an old photo of a model car I probably still have somewhere, my Zakspeed Capri, probably Tamiya.
Definitely Tamiya. It had a little electric motor and steerable wheels. It was a thing of beauty. My little brother lost control and it launched down the stairs, cracking the shell. I'm not saying I hold a grudge forever - just at the 34yr review, it was renewed for a further year Gassing Station | Scale Models | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
