It is indeed . If you don't know it (and you almost certainly do ) it is worth looking up the fate of this actual plane and its crew .

Trouble is , I like it so much that I feel I need another one, perhaps in RAF camouflage livery .

I've got this one in the Stash,

Tamiya F4 SEAC by oddball13131313, on Flickr

I think an RAF F4 would complete the set, it's just the time these days to get stuck into it

I have the Singapore Airlines version of that A380 - it's gorgeous! As is the Thai Airlines 767 with the boat down the side and all the blokes rowing it.

I also have a house full of those magazine cover F1s. Cheap but brilliant!

Next club competition is blue.

I thought I’d go route one this time as everyone thought my last scratchbuild was a obscure kit from somewhere.
The kit is a 1/72 extra300 by brengun. For a new kit it’s a dog with fleas.
Still just about got there in the end.
The pilots are from eBay.

On seeing the first photo I thought to myself, "Why's he put that one up?"

I honestly believed I was looking at the real thing.

Ta very much, I did take the pictures outside, so the sky has to take part of the credit.

Wow, looks cracking. What scale is that, 1/32? Nice rigging too.

It’s 1/32 scale.

I’m still working out the best way to do rigging. This isn’t perfect, but it’s an improvement over my previous efforts.

So. I was in Hannants on Friday and I saw these Eduard 1/144 scale kits I’d never heard of before. I thought I’d pick one up and it went together perfectly.

I Was so pleased I thought I’d enter it in the competition at shuttleworth today.
Well, much to my surprise it actually won.

To say I’m chuffed is an understatement.
