That looks ace. I work at the National Railway Museum, would you like me to see if there's any interest in adding it to our collection?
Can do thumbup
They interested in a teaspoon as well biglaugh it may have been 'purloined' from somewhere on the south coast a long time ago (about 40 years ago).
I'll try and root out an old engine book as well if I haven't disposed of it.
I've spoken to a curator and it could be a goer, please could you pop an email to [removed] and provide your personal details and info on how you got the item, plus any other relevant info, and he'll talk it over with you. By all means tell him about the spoon, too!

Once I know you've got this reply, I'll edit the post to remove the email address to prevent spam.

Cheers

I think it looks great. Airfix cocked up the AEW fit details for the consoles and not the MR fit. The 3 scopes for the operators are for the APS-20 AEW Radar. Changed a few of those in my time!!

Will do, it was presented to a family member in recognition of 50 years yikes continuous employment by the then MD of the company that took over the telecoms part of BR.
Good day out in London starting at BR's old headquarters in Euston Square in the early 90's.

Just a straightforward Ebbro McLaren Honda but of the few models I’ve made this was the one I enjoyed most.

It’s the first one mostly painted by rattle can and as such took a lot more time to do than brushing.

Still a few errors caused by being impatient but I’m pleased with it. One thing I didn’t do was fit the decal seat belts. If I’m doing more race cars I think I’ll upgrade in that department at least

I really don’t. Too much trumpet polishing as a teenager... I have a magnifying visor though.

Thanks for the kind comments though.

That camouflage on the tanks is so good I thought it was just a diorama of bushes!
OK it was on my phone rather than a laptop but still damned good.

(Either that or Rob has modelled a HUGE bottle of paint.)

A bit of whimsical nonsense inspired by a render I can't find any more. AMT 53 Ford truck cab and bed rescued from the scrap box and mashed over an unfinished project Lotus Ford F1 chassis. Absorbed far too many hours but I'm chuffed with the style.

I've got these two sat here, both from the 90's. The interior trim sticjers for the Merc are a bit dry and crazed.
