Can't get over how that looks so much like an MG Midget, think it's the door shape and chrome rubbing strip
They're a little bigger than a Midget, more like MGB size (which is what they usually get likened to).

Another couple of kits finished, and I took the opportunity to get my summer holiday completions out for a group photoshoot:

This one certainly sharpened up my masking skills. The idea is that the main bodyshell has been restored and a load of secondhand panels have been sourced, and the impatient owner has got it back on the road before it finally gets painted. It should have big US-spec bumpers, I removed them, rolled the rear valance, fitted Fujimi wheels and Hasegawa arches. Recaro seats are leftovers from my recent Audi Quattro build.

This was a Monogram kit before Revell reissued it, containing just 43 parts and from the same series as the Datsun 280Z above. Differnt wheels, brake discs added, otherwise I just worked with what was there.

My completed RB6 with my latest project in the background for a bit of scale.

I enjoyed making the Red Bull but a bit annoyed that the yellow that the nose cone was sprayed with (which was supposed to be the correct rattle can) didn’t quite match the yellow of the decal that is next to it. Quite possibly my mistake on the application of the paint tho so no biggie.

Never had a real garage so fitted this cabinet half way up stairs so I can look at my collection every day in the passing.....mostly diecast but some quite old now...as you can see my interest is E types and 911's.

Spent this year building 2 older succesful ferraris from Tameo wct kits. Ive done a couple of build threads on the ferrari 500 and sharknose. Purchased a damaged "Old Cars" transporter that had the front of the toprail missing, mirrors also missing and corrected it by adding indicator, brake lights, side lights and the top lights. The tailgait was also missing so will have to make that up too at some point. The transporter looks a little bit toylike.Would have bought a Exoto one if i could have afforded it, but this one will do for display purposes.Room for one more car which i may do at some point.

Very nice set up and very nicely built. Your and Dr.gn latest work in 1:43 have inspired me to restart my Provence Moulage and MR Model kits, tucked far away.

That Ferrari transporter (and its cargo) looks excellent.

In a slightly different vein.....

A fairly simple kit, but quite a bit of detailing to do along with various parts from other kits and accessory sets (including the clobber on the roof).

Nice work there and great photography with getting the background in scale.

Thanks, and thanks. I take them on the flat roof extension at the back of the house, following a careful climb up the ladder.....
