Work continues on the 1/16 Sherman.
I want to get it finished before Christmas as I have a few new kits arriving.
All the stowage items (apart from the Jerry cans) are scratch built as I couldn’t be bothered waiting for the value gear stuff to show up from the US.
I’m pretty pleased so far. Need to decide if I’m doing a base or not.

Eduard 1/48 Zero, Pearl Harbour attack. The port wingtip light took fright as soon as I opened the sore bag, never to be seen again, so MIA. Not 100% sure on the colour, looks a bit too green, but you ask 50 experts what shade the IJN zeros were you get 50 different answers. Still had 2 kits in the box so I get a second attempt in the future.
I realised after I’d taken the photos that the tail light and wing lights haven’t been fitted, so not quite finished yet.

Love the weathering on that North Korean tank - actual mud applied in layers or something else?Pigments mixed with water
Soil was very red in places from what i know.
I was building a diorama with it abandoned and a centurion rumbling on past it.
Changed direction to modern british before the cent was built
I wasn’t sure what thread to post this in, and didn’t want to create a new one just for this. However, I think it is worthy of sharing as it is an incredible model of a stern section of RMS Titanic as found today:
Just to add that this is not my model - I came across this video and thought it too good to not share!

Some 10 months after starting it, finally got this snap-fix Hilux completed.....

Some of the original accessories removed and Italeri Land Cruiser wheels fitted to vaguely replicate a rare surviving UK example (yes, I know my build is LHD, converting it was beyond what I wanted to/could do). Fairly basic level of detail, but what was there was good and it fitted together well.

Like the little stuff in the bed as well.
OK, here is my 12th kit I have designed since starting my own company, HMS Indefatigable, a 44 gun razee frigate, cut down from a 2 decker 64 gun ship of the line. This one is quite the monster, with the hull being almost 900mm long, and once masts and rig added, will be 1.3 metres in length. It includes fully detailed captains cabin with table and chairs. It is now almost ready for release (Masts and rig are always shown on full size plan sets)
