That looks like you did enjoy it Rob, quite the head turner! I'd have guessed 48th if you hadn't given the scale away. Your photography is to be aspired to...
I like the "DON'T PUSH" instruction on the nose...I wouldn't expect it to move if I tried!

Current project is 1/16 SOL Models Schwimmwagen.

Mix of resin and 3D printed parts.
Nothing injection moulded? Which parts, in general, are printed and which are cast? Just curious..a friend asked how healthy the hobby is and I had to say in rude health and the best for consumers it's ever been because of cheap scanning, printing, better value and quality tooling..

Will post up a picture later which will be more detailed

Just finished my Airfix Wessex in 1/72.

A great build, but what an ugly brute the Wessex was.

Yes, I know it was a Sikorsky with gas turbines shoe-horned in.

My current WIP is a Tamiya 1:24 Porsche 962C which is going to be painted up in Camel colours.

Well, I managed to tip my pot of glue over onto the body shell as I was preparing it for painting so that's rather ruined that! I'll have to buy a new kit if I want a replacement body, but as it wasn't one of the more expensive kits I'll do that to get it finished.

Really annoying....

Annoying, but not the end of the world. The Tamiya importer may be able to provide a new body, have a look here:

https://www.hobbyco.net/

If not this body is common across a few kits, perhaps eBay is a good place to look too.

Thanks for the link. I've already ordered a replacement kit to get hold of a new body shell, but I'll email hobbyco and if it's possible to just buy a body I'll make up a second version in the original kit livery.

Hope it works out for you.

The 3D-printed figures are amazing! They’ll look fantastic when painted up.

Thanks.

Am OK with figures until I get to faces.

Just primed them in black.

Will keep heads unattached for painting 🖌️ 🎨 in an attempt to improve

After my disaster with the body shell and having to buy a complete new kit to get another, I got it finished today.

I purchased after market decals for the Camel livery

On the subject of model figures, I picked up these two for £1.92 (including shipping) from AliExpress. Although that was an introductory price as it was my first order the actual price was only about £6.60 for the pair. They're 1:16 scale and the quality is actually very good.

They're 3D printed and no fancy packaging or instructions.
