Is that a Kyosho Lamborghini Miura Jota? Can't ever recall seeing it in brown, and even if it's another make, never seen it in that colour.
Definitely a one-off.....Vauxhall Hazel Brown aerosol. It's a plastic kit by Marui. I thought it suitably '70s.....
Thought it could have been a kit as there are some differences compared with the Kyosho Jotas. Looks great, nice work.

Thanks!
Fun thing about building kits is the freedom to make choices...never liked the roof wing so left it off...the Jota was orangey red but loved an image of brown/gold Miura and had to copy it.

I started this in 2004 then children "arrived" and other things needed doing like knappies. It got left just needed a few bits added and the camouflage done. I just completed it whilst recovering from Surgery. Not sure if I should weather it a bit more. I do feel some people get a bit carried away with the weathering sometimes.

Just to add a bit of balance, I was scanning some old photos the other day and came across this, an early attempt at a diorama featuring a TR7 kit, though I can't remember what make the kit was. Basically shoved it in some soil outside.

Looks like it. I wouldn't have thought it was Airfix, but the registration and so on make it pretty much certain. Must still have the model somewhere, along with the black Pontiac Firebird I made around the same time.

Many years ago I built the Tamiya kit of that car, loved it. Then someone dropped a roll of wall paper on it. Never looked the same after that.

Seems a trait with most of my kits. Foggy's Ducati went into the bin a few months ago after one too many accidents.

Gauge 1 (10mm : 1ft) North British Class 22 loco kit I started years ago, never finished it and sold it on, weathering / finish based some photos of the real thing taken at Exeter in 1971, just before it was scrapped...
