Has anyone on here experience of getting the 163 HDi remapped?

My car is a DS5. Ford use the same engine with same fuel pump etc. but larger injectors to produce 198bhp, and the adblue models from PSA have the exact same engine with 187bhp. Based on this I assume its tuned to meet emissions? So should be safe to bump up to 210bhp?

If you have one of these remapped does the power come in as evenly across the rev range or has your boost threshold been badly affected - does boost come in higher and harder?

There have been quite a few RCZ HDi owners who have had their 163's remapped to approx 200-210bhp, you lose the fuel economy but gain more torque, dont own a 163 but look on the rcz owners forum for more info smile
