Climate Control - not holding re gas

Went to get my air con re gassed and its not hold the charge I know this could be a number of problems but has anyone had a similar problem?

Could it be the compressor? if so how easy/costly is it to replace?

my car is a RENAULT LAGUNA III Hatchback 2.0 dCi Diesel 2007

Cars getting old now so im not sure if its even worth doing

Update - Yes it was Quick fit - the chap informed me the system is holding gas but the compressor keeps losing pressure. not sure what this means, new compressor?
