Any ideas why the side mirrors might have stopped folding when the cars locked? I used to just walk away listening out for the beep and the mirrors folding, but they've not been doing it recently.
Is there a setting I might have changed?
Make sure the door switch is on auto.Is there a setting I might have changed?
That’s a Kadjar but should be the same.

the harder you pushed the M2 the more flaws seemed to be exposed.
I have found quite the opposite, particularly compared to the Megane. But then again I drive like my grand dad on the open road .resolve10 said:
It's a manual with the Recaro upgrade and Bose (which were must haves). I'd have liked a pan sunroof but there don't seem to be many with that option ticked.
It also has a rear camera and Visio system - not exactly sure what the latter is but seems a well specced car.
Visio is Lane Departure warning, auto high/low beam and Trafic sign recognition. It also has a rear camera and Visio system - not exactly sure what the latter is but seems a well specced car.
I've asked this before but not had any luck in sorting it yet - does anyone have a confirmed way of disabling the speed alert warning sound on the meg with the standard infotainment please? I know some said they'd taken in to a dealer to sort but when I spoke to my local dealer they were useless and wanted best part of hundred quid just to look at it so chose not to risk it with them. It's driving me crazy. Cheers

Hand washed the wife's Megane RS yesterday. I'm finding that wheels (standard 280 model) are just about the most difficult to clean I've ever encountered. It's diffucult to get behind the spokes to clean the inner part of the wheel, and each spoke has a difficult to access middle section. Its also hard to spot all the dirt on the gunmetal finish when wet.
I'm also struggling to clean the exhaust clean, there's already a build up of soot after 500 miles in which its been cleaned 3 times. It won't come off with a cloth, and I'm reluctant to use anything abrasive.
I have the same wheels and used the Renault Waterless on them (clean, polish, silicon seal and wax in one allegedly), and agree access is awful, same as my RS197 so putting as much effort into protecting and sealing them, should get the Poorboy Wheel sealer on there too if it ever stops raining. First time I've used the waterless so will see how it goes if ever get a chance to drive it.I'm also struggling to clean the exhaust clean, there's already a build up of soot after 500 miles in which its been cleaned 3 times. For exhausts/ surround I use this as it's chemical based rather than abrasive, might take a couple goes if already have build up but makes easier to clean in the long term too:

Hi/Lo is disabled on the RS. Something to do with the LED lights combined with the chequered flag lamps being too bright for Auto Hi/Lo EU regulations. You can re-enable them though if you know a man with a laptop, dongle and DDT4ALL.

Just put a deposit down on a Flame Red 300 Trophy - picking up next Tuesday. Thanks to everyone in this thread for sharing your experiences and twisting my arm
Good choice and thanks for listeningI agree with alot of whats been said regarding playfulness, the suspension gets better with speed and its ability to kick back and slip into cruise mode when your done.
It does this far better than my previous Mk3 Focus RS and despite being down on power the Meganes part throttle response is so much better. You don't have to drive it like you stole it to have fun.
Enjoy your new purchase.

Well its been a year of ownership and a year approximately since I last viewed this thread, so I thought it about time I posted some photos.
No real complaints about the car. Very pleased how it drives, when you push on, but I do miss 4WD during UK winters. That said the LSD is pretty impressive off a roundabout and the FWD definitely seems alot more tolerant to a heavy foot in lower gears compared to all other cars in its class.
Still can't believe a car at this price point comes with full alcantara, a functional rear diffuser and 4WS.
I dont see what the moaning is about on the reviews with the 4WS, maybe us meer mortals just can't feel the issue, I just find it pin sharp and direct very much like a 4WD hot hatch or saloon (I've had both). Maybe its something that rears its head if your real aggressive on a track, but on a UK B-road its fine.
I was concerned about the cup chassis because the ride in my previous Focus RS Mk3 needed to wind its neck in a bit, but the Reno Cup is fine and seems to come into its own as speed builds. Whereas the Focus would try and pogo you through a hedge.
All in all a good purchase if you can see past the Reno badge. Which has been my biggest issue to be fair.
Just had a bit of a crisis looking at those pics. These Megane's just look so right! Was out for a bit of a drive yesterday and spotted a white one. Even in a bit more of a bland colour, it just looked stunning. No real complaints about the car. Very pleased how it drives, when you push on, but I do miss 4WD during UK winters. Does the pre facelift Mk4 come with 18s or 19s as standard with the cup pack?
Every review I've seen suggests that the 19s are standard yet the leased cup that has just turned up has the 18s fitted
I'm actually happy with the cup and 18s but I need to be sure it's a cup that has turned up. Lease Co and dealership aren't proving overly helpful.
