Constant beeping after fitting new battery.

A friend of mine has a 1995 Bentley Brooklands. It's been sat for months and the battery went completely flat. He's just put a brand new one in and everything seems fine, although there is a loud constant high-pitch beeping coming from the boot area (I think).

Any ideas what this could be?

Car starts fine, everything else seems fine, just this loud beep.

Mine does this, sometimes. It is usually the alarm having a hissy. Try setting and then unlocking a few times, sorts mine out. But the beeping on mine comes from the dash and I get an 'Alarm Event occurred' message, so maybe something else but worth a try.
