I have just spoke to a few dealers about changing our Bentayga for a new car for October delivery and have been told there is now a 10-12 month waiting list on factory orders? Anyone else heard this?

I placed my order for a new continental gt first edition back in January this year and was told delivery in quarter 4 so anytime from October to December !
I think from reading between the lines that Bentley have had more teething problems to sort with these cars than they anticipated but they want them to be delivered to the customer sorted.
HTH.

Not sure about waiting lists, but I was at Bentley Bristol last week and they seemed to have a new car in stock...although I guess it could have been awaiting delivery to the owner.

Separately, being nosy, did you order a Phantom VIII in the end?

I might be talking out of my backside, with the weak GBP I would imagine that it's far more profitable to sell overseas than sell in the UK.

I got mine in 4 months delivered last day of April

Although Considering selling it as its too nice for my kids to destroy and a bit too much for me to drive round in on my own 99% of the time

It is all because of the VW emissions-related factory shutdowns.

So they are, I am told, only building the new GT for the next few months. Production of Bentaygas and the Mulsanne is on hold while they do whatever secret work they are doing.

Exactly the same as all the Porsche factory closedowns.

I’m guessing “selling it as its too nice for my kids to destroy and a bit too much for me to drive round in on my own 99% of the time”
