Hi all

I am driving someone in a Mulsanne tomorrow - last minute arrangement. I have never driven a Bentley before so have no idea of the interior setup. Done the usual research on youtube but need some swift answers to ensure the service is as I would want it. I don't know the age or marque, just that the guy is a very senior individual.

1) Door locks - where is the interior door lock button for ease of ingress / alighting?
2) Start up - Is the Push start button obviously placed for the driver?
3) Is the on board computer easy to navigate? ( I am used to the the Rolls Royce BMW setup )
4) Any other tips / bespoke info?

Thanks in advance. All these points are usually sorted within a quick familiarization, but I like to plan ahead. There's very little on Google showing the interior in a decent definition.

Door lock/unlock is by the interior door handle (on the door)

Engine start stop is in the middle by the hear stick.

On board computer is accessed using the steering wheel controls and can be seen on the screen in the centre of the dash.

Don't use my Mulsanne much and when I do it not hard to remember where things are unlike I find in some cars.

Cheers, this is all complete now anyway. Quite a powerful car, feels quicker than a RR but may have something to do with the fact you can hear the engine,

Which did you prefer, out of interest? Having been in neither, my gut instinct is that the Mulsanne will be better to drive, but the Phantom a better car for the rear passenger, but I could be quite wrong.

Its an odd one.

I haven't driven a Phantom, but have driven a Ghost and a am very familiar with the Cullinan. The RR is quieter and less of an "occasion" when you put your foot down. I would say it is also far more refined and luxurious. The Mulsanne was more old skool, noisier, definitely torquier, but not as refined on the inside.

The Bentley was lightly more fun to drive and almost encouraged some adventurous driving, the RR was a different experience, very capable but not as loud or brash.
