In preparation of getting ready to sell (not just yet) I took some photos of my Turbo R yesterday. Very pleased with them so thought I'd share.

That's just made me well up. I sold my very similar Turbo R about six years ago, it was supposed to be my forever car frown Good luck with the sale, hope you don't regret it.

Thanks 😊 🙏

It’s been a wonderful car to own. I’m sure to miss it a little but doubt I will regret.

I love the way it picks up speed and surprises modern stuff. And the comfort is second to nothing.

Had some good drives in it, one from London to Cornwall and back in one day to see the turning on of the Christmas lights in Mousehole last year amongst them. Four of us and the dog got back shortly after midnight, none of us complaining of stiff backs or numb bums.

God that’s stunning. How has the ownership experience been for you?

Superb motor and a classy and fitting photo shoot too

Blimey that is beautiful in that colour. I have always liked them in Mulberry. As a previous poster has said what has the ownership been like? My son is called Bentley and one day I will have one of these too.

Good eBay description and not a bad price.
I’ll have to get a shipping quote now but has to be zero rust for entry into NZ.
OP - Any rust or corrosion anywhere?

Just seen your listing on the bay of E. I’m so miffed I haven’t been able to work for 6 months due to gov restrictions. I could buy it but the timing is just off. Gutted. It is stunning and an absolute bargain for someone. Good Luck with your sale.

Still ridiculously undervalued. When are they ever going to climb upwards? Surely long overdue?

I see the car is marked sold. I don't suppose there is any chance of the sale falling through? This is exactly what I am looking for.

Bug, why selling all your toys? what's next

Both are dream cars: I currently own a T2 and they are special
and the 993, well i've owned several, and yours seems like a superb one...i regret selling all my air cooled porsches

You must have a special project in the pipeline, tells us more

Sorry everyone, I forgot this thread was here and didn't check on it (911Thrasher, I now understand what you were talking about!).

Car is sold. The difference on the price was down to me not getting around to sorting a few small issues I was going to rectify in order to make as close to perfect as I could. Was a joy to own, and it has gone to a new home with someone far more worthy of owning it than me.

Caterham also gone, won't miss that if I'm honest as my back and knee reminded me I'd been driving it days afterwards.

Porsche will be going, but not just yet as I've got a few things to sort out, and some trips I want to do in it. I hope I don't regret selling it. The problem will come when I buy another air cooled car as it is unlikely to be anywhere near as well sorted – I can't see me commissioning another £20k+ 3.8 engine build.

And there is of course an exciting project in the pipeline, however I can't write about it yet. I don't want to curse it! smile
