Anyone had any experience on how easy it is to sell one of these and what the dealer spread on them is? Been looking at a few to buy on a 14 plate advertised for £105-120k, but when you run the reg through We Buy Any Car, the price comes back at £80k 😲

WBAC are just about the worst place to try and get a valuation for a car like this.

I ran my Bentley through their system for a laugh and it came back 35k less than a Bentley dealer would offer.

It's quite hard to get out of the top tier car system without taking a bath as even a run of the mill Merc dealer will struggle to get a price at all on a Bentley/Rolls etc

I agree but WBAC are effectively offering you a trade price, which they make a little once they put it through auction. So it’s indicative of a trade bid.

I was just seeing if anyone on here could share their experience of selling one of these as I have seen some private adverts on Autotrader for 2014 cars sit around for months.

There's effectively a two tier market at this level. The dealers who sell or are part of a group that sell these cars or ones that aren't.

WBAC are in the "aren't" group.

2014 are non PCP-able cars. 100k plus cars like this will always be a tricky sell imho.

Why is it non PCP?

Usually the max age is 5 years I believe.

Watching this thread with interest, I’m looking at these and not sure weather to go in at the bottom or go for the updated 2017 model.

Me too but I am a bit worried that the spread on them is quite high - £20k I reckon, and cars seem to be sitting around for quite a while pointing to a rather illiquid market for these

that spread sounds about right.

There is a 2015 car listed on Collecting Cars so let’s see where the market for these really stands.

It was at £135k last time I looked, it’s now disappeared.

I was thinking of the Dawn, which went for a retail £165k !
