Hello,

I noticed today the driver side window will not full go down or up. It does work meaning when you unlock the car the drivers window drops a few mm, same as the rear window, so this part is normal.

Sat in the car with engine running, the window wont go down but can go up a few mm to the close position.

Locking the car, is pain as the car will lock, but the window is not fully at the top, so I need to keep the remote lock button pressed a few seconds for the window to go right up.

Also noticed when sat in the car and open the door, their is a slight wobble sound for a few if seconds, upon further inspection, the door car is loose from the bottom.

Is the problem a windiw regulator or perhaps the djoor card needs to be eealogned?

Thanks

Super Sonic

I have the same problem on my accord type R. Great fun at car parks and toll booths :-). It's not electrical w those symptoms, so you need a new door glass regulator. Am getting a new one fitted by Arkham Performance on Friday, who managed to source a s/hand one. Many thanks guys at Arkham!

Is this a Conti GT? Does it have frame-less glass? (The dropping a couple of mm when unlocking would suggest it does.)

If it's the same as my Vanquish, there's a learning procedure to teach the electronics where full up and full down are. You just push the down button until it gets all the way down and then keep pushing it for another couple of seconds -- at which point you hear a click. Then all the way up and keep holding it again until you hear a click.

I have no idea if the Conti is the same or not; I've only experience with SY and Arnage on the Bentley side of things....

Hello,

It isl a Bentley continental GT.

Unfortunately the glass does not fully go down, only a few mm and yes it is pillarless.

I think the door card open at the bottom may have something to do with it.

Window regulators go .As any old VAG car .Unfortunately if you can find one they are cica £500 for the B GT (c) , and usually on back order due to the commonality of the issue .
There are some e bay repair kits available for about £40 for VAG window regulators .

Hello,

Opened door card yesterday.

Took off regulator and sprayed wd40 on the motor spindle, it all works and happy it was quite straight forward.
