6.75 engined Bentleys issues?
Discussion
Lovely car! Enjoy. I have a set of lambswool rugs- I like using it in the driver's side but my wife always puts it in the boot when she drives! The other ones are unused as my dog is often in the back....I have bought cheap overmats to.protect the Bentley carpets over the years.
The rear spheres are a relatively cheap fix but make a big difference.
Mine is in for a service- 10k miles since December!

Im off to collect the car next Wednesday (17th) and so far i have resisted temptation to start buying all things Bentley.
The car is now all ready having had rhe rear suspension fettled and new tyres on the front.
I will definitely need some carpet protection going forward but whether I go full lambswool or a carpet type overmat I'm jot sure yet.
I will get some paint sorted , probably Dr Colorchip, to touch up a couple of very minor chips to rhe front and then I will give it a light machine Polish and a ceramic coating.
I'm keen on a full waxoyle / lanoguard treatment too but the selling dealer has already done some for me as he knew i was looking to use it all year round., which was kind of him.
Beyond this my only other thought is to investigate a sat nav upgrade and / or reversing camera.
However, I hate modifying cars, I really like to keep things as they left the factory so the sat nav / camera thing is already causing me angst!!
Any camera woukd have to be well hidden and I won't be drilling a hole in rhe bumper as some have done. I know you can upgrade the radio head unit without having to replace it which may help but if I can't find or see a sat nav (android auto type thing) that is unobtrusive I may just buy a clip on phone holder and use that as it can be removed and stored in rhe glovebox when nav not required.
All food for thought.

15 years ago.... I replaced the sat nav with a touch screen alpine system and installed a blue tooth speaker inside the passenger dash with a parrot controller fitted on dash. Left original system to work as is. Now possible to fit a sat nav that also controls speaker with Bluetooth to phone?
I would be interested to know what you find!

This link to a car for sale shows an pioneer head unit that appears to still fit behind the drop down wooden flap though the rear camera appears to have been drilled through the centre of the rear bumper.
Apart from that it seems a nice install

Feel free to reach out when you get to that point as I will hopefully have more hands on experience to share by then.
I'm loving mine so far. Just done a 200 mile trip around Yorkshire. The main driving characteristic to note over more modern stuff is that everything takes a deliberate action, even indicating. There is a 'heft' to everything on an Arnage, brakes and yes even the indicator stalk !
Not unpleasant or difficult just not incredibly light like in modern cars.
It's a bit roly poly on the bends which is really funny though the sport button tightens that down considerably, I just like leaving it in roly poly mode
