Looks like a new supply of damp Flying Spur parts becoming available in a few months

My arnage looks like ut needs a new steering rack so currently sourcing a reconditioned unit. Still drivable in the meantime, its just spoilt by slightly 'weird' steering.

It still feels like a nice little occasion when taking it out though.

So we have found a rack which is with the machine shop being reconditioned as we speak so hopefully that could be with the workshop for fitting by mid to late next week. He tells me the install is relatively simple but he won't do the under body wax oyle until.steering sorted as it would just get messy which is fair enough.
Still looking into a stereo/sat nav/ rev camera set up but two firms who can definitely do what I want are both based in the south East which isn't handy for me in Northumberland
Anyway new plate finally fitted and sits alongside the sister plate i have.

Mine is just sitting on my drive feeling sorry for itself, not using it for now as I don't want to compound any issues.
Fingers crossed the replacement steering rack could land today or maybe tomorrow.
Last I heard it was getting dropped at the couriers.
Leaves me a tad jealous seeing you lot enjoying your motors.
I'm missing the daft thing

Literally just had confirmation the rack has landed at the mechanics workshop.
Fingers crossed I can get this put to bed over the next couple of days

Surplus to requirement really - bit of a story which I touch on in the ad - one owner in 21 years but I also have an S1 Elise Sport 160 and early 70s Alfa Giulia which are more fun!
