A picture a day of your Bentley

Been doing some manual work on my Arnage by replacing the spring clip that keeps the fuel flap up so I could fill up without having to hold it.
£40 later and 5 mins of expert ,I mean idiot proof, manual labour and broken string clip removed with a new one duly fitted.
Now looking at my leather ...... its suffered a few patches of yellowing on its original Cotswold coloured interior. Have tried a few cleaning techniques and products and nothing shifting it.
So it will probably need painting or dyed or whatever but concerned I end up with 2 shades of interior leather then. Or do I just live with it?

25mpg on your Glasgow trip is stuff of dreams !
I must take mine out for a long cruise and see what I can get but these days my daily driving will rarely hit double digits......but I don't care.....until I pay on rhe forecourt then I do care
As for the wing mirror, t
ts, stuff like that really annoys me. You try to take all reasonable precautions and put effort into keeping something nice and some scroat comes along..

Well popped into my local specialists to see if they could see a coolant leak or book it in for testing.
They very kindly stuck it on a ramp and had a good look, unfortunately they couldn't find anything. So quick pressure test and levels check and everything still OK so a little mystery.
Test did show coolant was only good to minus 15 to I'm going to syphon a approx a litre out the expansion bottle and then top it up with pure antifreeze and this should lower the freezing temps. Then I will just watch the levels and see what happens and if it drops again then book it in for a full going over. I might get a flush and refill done when its serviced in May.

Mind it's cost me £75 to order some official antifreeze (5 litre container), did look at some cheaper options but with such an older engine design I thought it best to stick with approved stuff.
