those wolfrace wheels don't do it any favours IMHO...and with all those modifications it seems rather like a kit car than anything like a Bentley. I'd be inclined to spend my dough on a Turbo R and make it as fast as the phantom motors one

Hi all,

The Special is extreemly fast off the line. Much quicker than the Turbo R. However, the Turbo R eats it alive on braking and has the edge over the Special on conering (just). Turbo R weighs 1850 kg, suspect the Special struggles to reach 1000 kg. The Trubo R has won the BDC meeting at Silverstone for the last 2 years. If the Special had a new set of wheels and tyres (Lower profile) and better brakes (vented at least) it would be almost impossible to catch. Glad it as it is.

No 2 Turbo R is progressing slowley. Body needs the engine, box and suspension fitting.......
