That looks fantastic.Great car.

I also love your Vantage V12. I've had a V8 coupe and roadster but never driven a V12 - I expect it is wonderful and a good contrast to the Mini.

Mine is in production this week and I've booked a visit to the factory for tomorrow so hopefully I'll see it being built.

Really looking forward to getting it and having a Mini again to go with my 1999 mini.

We initially got nothing, but as they had forgotten to fit the mats the wife blagged the dog while we waited for them to get the mats in stock smile

Apologies for going a little OT.

I really like the look of the Recaro/JCW seats. I was wondering about getting a Clubman Cooper SD with them. How do you find the seats compared with the ordinary sports seats which come with the Chili Pack on most models. We have the ordinary sports seats in our F55 Cooper D, and while they are pretty good for the short journeys we do in this car, I wouldn't want to spend 4 hours in them.

Clearly I'm going to have to try for myself, but I would be interested in other views on the positives/negatives of the Recaro seats?

No experience on any other Mini seats unfortunately, longest drive has only been an hour but they are really comfortable only issue I have is with the armrest which I put in the up position as I find it gets in the way when changing gear when down (the wife does not have an issue with it though).

We have the same problem with the armrest, which I am told you are obliged to have with Media XL, since it contains the cradle (which we don't use) for the phone. I find down to be the less bad position though, so I don't keep banging my elbow!

Good to hear the seats are comfortable. I'm going to have to borrow one from a dealer with those seats and try them out. Cheers

Mrs got hers on Wednesday,

Car with media, sports plus auto, not much else but doesn't need anything else really.

Did you not spec a CHILI pack consciously, or did the dealer make a mistake?

This was a car pre-spec'd on a limited list for 6 months use, then we get something else, so no other option, we probably wouldn't have been bothered as it won't make the car quicker imo

how are you finding the auto box ?

White silver is one of the nicest colours so you won't be dissapointed.

I know it wasn't aimed at me but..

I'm loving the auto box on mine much nicer to drive than the Spanish boxed car. Flat shifting fast manual shifting launch control not that you need it and easier to live with if you use the arm rest

I was looking at the 1.5 cooper auto but I might have found a cooper s, I do want the auto, media xk, led, sunroof heated seats and ideally heated screen ... White silver or blazing red are the colours of choice.

S over plain Cooper any time if you only get std auto not sport auto it can be coded to be a sport auto as it's just software that's different

Well finally run in after nearly 3 months smile just require some nice clear road now, but the big decision/question of the day is when do I take the plastic of the door kick plates as I am liking the Blue Hue the plastic gives them, or do I wait till it gets a tear in it scratchchin ...

I believe so, the mats where missing when the car was delivered and that is what they ordered as the replacement so not 100% sure if they would have been standard.

Mats aren't standard, they're the Pro mats, and were on back order for some time but available now

I believe mats are part of the Chilli Pack, but as mentioned the car was delivered without mats which was included in the sale so that was what they ordered for me, no idea what they should have been, but more than happy with these smile
