Look at a mini this week - hope to score it for a good price but suspect the 1275 engine maybe f**ked.

How much am I looking at for an engine re-build and set up??

New crank? Pistons? Rods? Cam?

Needs stripping and assessment first.

I will have a look at the car and report back if I buy, hopefully it just needs a bit of tinkering!

Look at the regulars who do recon engines will give you a good idea

Bought it - engine actually seems ok.
Really just a new carb (trying to source)
Electrics a bit f**ked and a clutch slave and should be good for the Summer
