Had the JCW Challenge edition for a few weeks now and absolutely loving it. Finding 5 clicks at the front and 10 at the back on the Nitrons for the road at the moment. It’s firm.

Last week I noticed that the service indicator was saying July for the first service, but the car was registered in March 17. Which is 8 months too early. A quick trip to the dealer to look at the key data revealed all...

The car was actually built in July 16! Which means it took 8 months to get all the Challenge bits put on it. No wonder there was all that palaver with people waiting ages for their cars and cancelling orders.

What does the sticker inside the passenger door say date wise?

I don't think it was the putting the bits on the car that was the problem, think there was a problem with type approval or something like that, I am sure someone will putt me right!

I see there is a couple for sale again on Mini cherished.

Ahh yes, I see.

Did not know about sticker and it was on the passenger side, July 2016 build.
