Got the call from dealer today...
15K
They offered me 15k for my 10,000 mile Challenge edition. In the dealer network there are 3 on sale the cheapest is 25k with 25,000 miles on the clock. So now Mini dealers want a 10k mark up. Didn't want to offer a deal of any kind on the GP either.
I'll give you £15,500 for it! 15K

Keep the Challenge mate - with a semi-disappointing GP, I think the Challenge will now be the MINI of this generation that will hold it's value and be most revered in the future. So few of them, and such a unique and interesting story around their creation, I think they're an absolute winner. Plus, four seats

Cheers guys, yes I’m keeping the Challenge.
I will try and test drive a GP when they either have some hanging around or second hand. It’s what I did with the Challenge as you couldn’t test drive them either. I was just lucky I found one later with 20 miles on the clock!
Great decision although I am biased obviously My manager has a GP3 on order so hopefully I can have a drive when it arrives!I will try and test drive a GP when they either have some hanging around or second hand. Took mine out for a blast yesterday absolutely love it. Overtook a chap in a new AM DBX slowed down to have a look and he decided to boot it. Suffice to say the little mini didn’t embarrass me and still managed to get past . Quite surprising given the AM is 500bhp plus.
Great fun and surprisingly nimble! Looking forward to get it on track!

Anyone else gone for a non-touring version?
I don't think there are many. The dealer group mine is with has 17 across four dealerships and they all are touring, or at least that's what I was told. I was going to go non-touring until I realised it doesn't have AC and have therefore had to fork out for all the satnav gubbins that I'm really not that bothered about.Iknownothin said:
