Any chance of an impromptu meet - still not seen the new GP and interested as an ex GP2 owner. Only around tomorrow up and till about lunch time though
Can only make in tonight as off to Wales tomorrow. How about tonight either before or after F1, do you know the car park at Bitton Railway?

Just had an impromptu socially responsible quick meet with kevs (top bloke) and had a look around his car (didn’t go out for a run).
Plenty to think about... I think mini have done a cracking job of the styling and the infotainment looks great. Wife didn’t object!
I don’t think anyone waiting for theirs will be disappointed!

Interesting set of comparison numbers. Apparently the Trophy R was still 0.9 seconds quicker around the Sachsenring despite loosing out to the GP on both acceleration and braking performance.
Good to see it’s that close ;0)Give me a Gp3 and another 10k for the right aftermarket tyres/suspension/brakes/exhaust and perhaps a tiny bit more weight saving as the Trophy R spec, and I think it could be realistic to consider a possible time close to or to even slightly better. I suspect the Real “problem” for BMW is a Mini becoming faster than a M2 competition, rather than the engineering required just to keep up with the Renault.

Mmm buy at an unregulated auction with no comeback or walk into a showroom and benefit from all the protection you get from that. Any guess on what this might go for?moonigan said:

Saw that first thing this morning - what a moron. Good news for all GP3 owners... your car just got a little bit rarer
