new order for a JCW but is there a Facelift soon?

Hoping to get a new order in soon for a JCW convertible manual with a December deliver date and was reading about if there is a facelift due soon?

Any news on a LCI/ facelift as would hold fire on the ordered there was a facelift soon?

Also any pointers as to must haves on a JCW convertible? - so far we have manual comfort plus and nav. unfortunately no stripes/graphics as wife is not keen.

Well something seems to be coming but not sure exactly when, and whether it will be much more than cosmetic (front and rear, snazzy new dash instrument cluster like the GP3) or whether there will be a power hike as well

It would be nice if it got the 265bhp state of tune of the 128ti and an LSD then I think they'd be onto a winner. But maybe a smaller bump up to 240 or 250bhp is more realistic if they are not going to overhaul the transmission and fit an LSD. It would be really disappointing if they don't change anything engine/transmission wise, especially after teasing with ring footage.

Have you driven one? Mrs wanted a convertible mini to replace her golf cabrio last Jan. She wasn’t impressed with the noise/rattles compared to the Golf along with the rear visibility with the roof up. The roof sits awkwardly with it down too.

For the same money you can get a loaded M240i cab. May not be similar cars but having owned both they are night and day different and would pick the M every time.

I think the 2nd LCI is due in March 2021 - potentially a larger refresh to keep the F56 on sale for a few more years yet.

Bumpers, digital dash from the Electric/GP, wheel option changes, trim changes, new colours etc.

I would hold fire, I believe the facelift is going to be unveiled in the next month or so and is going to look quite different. I know the link below doesn't contain JCW, but it points to quite a different look.
