My wife is looking to swap her current 2017 Cooper convertible, for a new 3 door hatch. The salesman thinks there is a facelift planned for March (with a price rise no doubt), does anybody have more information on this?

New price list should have come out last Friday but was put back to today and now appears to be delayed until tomorrow. Price rises expected but not sure if there will be additional equipment or any facelifts.

Looks like it'll be announced soon. We've been waiting as well to see what the changes are. https://www.caradvice.com.au/912711/2021-mini-hatc...

It looks like the configurator has been updated. I notice the TFT dash is part of a £2.2k tech pack.

Is this a 2nd facelift/LCI for the F56?

IIRC the first one added Union Jack tail lights amongst others things?

I’m waiting for the new price list for the Countryman but my dealer has said that the Cooper Classic Countryman has gone up by £300.

Looking at swapping the wife's Countryman but cannot see any changes on the configurator as yet re tech pack as stated above.

If anyone has the web address even for non Countryman specs so I can look at what is coming.

I am told that the base Countryman Cooper Classic has gone up by £305 and the Exclusive by about £750. Not sure about the Sport increase. Don’t think that there has been much change to the Countryman ( apart from the digital dash ) although I understand Comfort Access is now included in the Comfort pack at no additional cost. There is now a heated steering wheel option at £250. No cost colour for the Countryman is still Moonwalk Grey, no cost for the Sport is Chilli Red and the Exclusive is the Enigmatic black.

Yes, the first one added a new fuel gauge and moved the sport button onto the dashboard from around the gearbox. I also think that front LED headlights became standard along with nav and a new touch screen.

I reckon that the F56 model will end up on sale forever(without being replaced) by the look of it!

Update details: https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/mini-m...

Sadly the Mini hasn't escaped BMW's policy of ever increasing grille size.

Front end of the facelift looks like a Mexican bandit.

Pretty gutted. The F56 has grown on me and due to a new job I was planning on ordering a brand new hatch in April/May. This facelift has completely put me off. I'm just hoping the JCW looks better than these.

I'm shocked that the Cooper S has lost 13bhp, it isn't like it had a lot in the first place(189bhp). I presume they are trying to make the Mini electric seem more appealing with 181bhp perhaps.

Mini configurator still shows the non facelift version, waiting to see if the facelift includes the Countryman.

Countryman and clubman were face lifted very recently. I believe they’re staying the same.

Spoke to my local dealer re facelift. They didn't know when the configurator would be live. My wife likes the new yellow colour, but according to the dealer, it's only for the convertible. I see the handbrake has gone now.

I hadn't noticed that, I did think that it looked tidier around that area but I didn't notice the handbrake had gone.

Afraid your wife will be disappointed. The new colour for the hatch is Rooftop Grey which looks like a Taupe colour. Dark colours seem to look best so as to minimise the colour coded central grille bar.
