Cooper S - what a car!!

My wife has just changed from a cooper S convertible to a cooper S works (hardtop). I really liked the convertible in terms of refinement but it wasn't very fast (compared to the civic type-R we used to have). The cooper S works is unbelievable though. It has the works suspension on it with 18s and michellin PS2s. The grip is astounding. Although not as fast as a type-R in a straight line (close though), I think it would easily keep up on a track...the grip is almost limitless.
