Renewels dew on the mini in a couple of weeks have checked out some deals A plan and Adrien Flux comming in the cheapest so far over £100 cheaper than D Line with a lower exess, does anyone have any recomendations ?

Go with A-plan have the MCS and 996 with these guy's. The offered the best cover at the best price. If you find cheaper they will push to match or beat in most cases.

Agreed - go with A-Plan.

My renewal arrived this morning (£786.45 with £475 excess) from Privilege.

One call to A-Plan got me sorted with same cover (although with better breakdown recovery): premium £495 with £200 excess.

Greenlight just beat all-comers for my most recen renewal.

Will ring greenlight on friday havn't tried them before, also ring A plan - Adrien Flux £50 cheaper than them so hope they haggle. Let you know how i get on

greenlight came up with the same quote as AA lower xs though,got back on to A plan and they came to within £10 of A Flux and matched the breakdown, better xs as well, agree with other pistonheaders very good to deal with on the phone - got my vote !

Got mine through Hastings Direct. Costs about £560 with a £200 excess i think which is ok considering I only have 3 years of no claims bonus. The trick with insurance though is that you never know if it is value for money until you have to claim, which no one wants to do.

Admiral and Elephant are always the best quote for me, around £550 for an JCW MCS
