Hi all,

Recently bought my first Dutch car.. A volvo V40 2.0t, and very nice it is.

I'm now looking at getting winter tyres fitted. I don't drive much at the moment, but I'm set to become a parent in January and don't want to be stuck in the snow on the way to the maternity unit!

Can anyone recommend a decent company (or chain) for fitting winter tyres, and, also for decent wheel alignment? In the UK I always took my Eunos to a place that did proper 4 wheel laser wheel alignment which solved all complaints I ever had, whereas most run of the mill places that adjusted 'tracking' were most of the time useless.

Thanks! Oh and I'm in Den Haag.

Hi,

My wife's Volvo and winter tyres are handled by Autobedrijf Harteveld in Delft (10 mins from The Hague). We are quite happy about the service.

I've used henze autobanden in rijswijk before now and had no issues. The profile tyre centre next to them is supposed to be ok too.
