Hello all,

In 2020 I imported an old Lamborghini tractor.

As part of getting it road registered I need the year of manufacture.

Now I could just approach a club, but I used to write these forms and DVLA typically want you to 'show your working' on how you got that date.

Whilst there is a chassis plate on it, the year isn't stamped on. They stopped doing that about 1963.
I've approached the current owners of the tractor arm, and their records start from 1970.

I have the old registration number, from Italy. Would getting hold of a copy of the v5 equivalent tell me the age? Is there an alternative oiption?

Any help would be apprciated.

Does the VIN itself help? Maybe one of the decoders on the internet?

Nice idea, but it is before VIN numbers became a thing. So I have a chassis number, but it is just a number, i.e. 20010
