Congrats! Shouldn't be long for you to receive your t-shirt.
Thanks,In honesty I don't like the new green 250 t-shirt as much as the old black with gold writing,
However it's great to have the recognition
Great day today as also volunteered and did some pacing … nice & easy .. ready for the 50Km tomorrow
Nice running T6.
Stonehouse for me - 100th parkrun for them, and also the 2nd birthday, so a nice event with a great turnout and we're back onto our old course having had a Carillion-collapse affected course for a year or so. Still four laps, but a variable surface now and it's a bit interesting again as a result.
Did a Le Mans start with my boy (3). He ran 100m, then opted for the buggy, so we stopped, strapped in, sunnied up and set off again. Good way of running for me as I can move through the field more easily once it's spread and chase down the other buggyists. Got all but one today, who saw me coming on the last lap and dug in. I'll take 25.01 on grass with a 30 second stop.
RDd our juniors too. Not my finest hour. 1/3 of the field was new and I managed to forget to tell them a) how many laps, or b) where the course went. Naturally the leader was a first timer and shot off up the field with half the field in tow. Still. No one died, so that's a win.

Those who've been around for a while will remember the parkrun show, Danny and Nicola have now done a pilot of 'With Me Now' (aka son of prs), possibly more episodes to come.

I thought Free Weekly Timed was only unofficial, though had the blessing of parkrun?

I'd like to have one of those! Would have been rude not to
For a PB it's easier to achieve starting further to the front than normal, Ideally try to keep on the coat tails of someone you know regularly achieves the time your looking too
Did a 50km ultra last Sunday and my Thursday training run was painful so not looking for a special time tomorrow

Debut today at Pomphrey Hill Bristol, first time I have run any distance outdoors for 35 years
30m 39s, not horrendous for an old bloke
Well done and good effort! Pomphrey Hill is a particularly challenging course with that wood chip climb, covered twice!30m 39s, not horrendous for an old bloke
Went further afield to Worcester Pitchcroft today, where the course now measures exactly 5km!
Warm morning, so I throttled the effort back due to feeling a bit nauseous. Ended up pacing and encouraging a teenage lad on to a new PB and his first sub-19.
