Strange term to use against people rightly annoyed about the banning of a certain dog lead type.

Time of 21.10 today at the Kingsway run (just south of Gloucester). Thanks to heavy overnight rain a steeplechase-style watersplash had appeared which was quite good fun biggrin Getting back towards the PB I set 3 years ago. The point of the post though...

...it was also my 50th ParkRun and I was in it solely for the T-shirt. I followed the instructions through the ParkRun support pages (https://support.parkrun.com/hc/en-us/articles/200038792-How-do-I-claim-my-milestone-t-shirt-) and essentially you click the order button on the ParkRun page which then links across to the vendors page (Pro:Direct). Whenever i tried it I just got an 'Error 404 page not found' message. I created an account on the Pro:Direct website and tried through both Chrome and Edge browsers, which were the two measures ParkRun suggested, but neither worked. Am I just being far too impatient and should I be waiting for an email instead?

T shirt - it may be that it hasn't been activated yet but I have seen reports of 404 error on other groups. Try again another time is the only thing I can suggest.

Edit - I checked from my account, my milestones were all a long time ago, and get 404 error.

More Edit - found a post from HQ in a chat yesterday "It's a known Issue, please keep trying, it works about a third of the time or wair until next week when we hope to have it fixed"

Just give it time. Saturdays after parkrun the milestone site gets hammered. Wait for a couple of days and it will be sorted.

Thanks chaps, I figured impatience was most likely to blame.

A couple of weeks ago the % Age Grade record at my favourite parkrun (Colney Lane parkrun in Norwich) was broken by a lady who got a score of 92.2% which I think is pretty good going considering the overall best time is 16:12, ie. not a fast parkrun as that's 90 seconds slower than the best time at the parkrun half a mile down the road. Well yesterday it was her birthday so we all sang Happy Birthday to her, and she ran about the same time but must've gone up an age category as the new record is 94.4%!
I'm still 2 minutes behind my PB but yesterday was my fastest time since lockdown so onwards and upwards...!

Age grade goes up every year, not just when you go up a category.

Still had snow on the ground last week at Zuiderpark. 21 degrees and sunny today at Foro Italico. Somewhere in between would be nice biggrin

Combined with our first difficult canicross runner. Sigh.

I thought the angry ones only existed online.

Did Hamsterley Forest yesterday as dodging about the North before disappearing back to Scotland. Result email landed at 10.09 which I think is a new record - no flies on the event team!

Has anyone else stopped receiving their finisher email/time?

It shows up on the results page of which ever parkrun I do and counts toward milestones as my new tee shirt is available to purchase. Not going to junk and email address not marked as spam. I looked at their FAQ and it more relates to not having a time at all.

I had this for a few weeks with no text but seems to have resolved itself now.

Where emails have been bounced a few times by the provider then no more are sent, this came up on a parkrun group somewhere a few weeks ago. Could be because of your email or because your provider has decided all parkrun emails are spam. I still get the emails and texts.

Ah, that sounds like it then. It’s a hotmail address that is quite full.

Thanks both. smile

We've had close for a few weeks due to another event at the park.

So we went to watch the other event yesterday, which was fun.

Going to watch the wheelchair rugby tonight, basketball on Thursday evening, and I've got Friday off to watch the cycle racing which is using our parkrun course.

I'm going to be in Glasgow this Saturday, any recommendations on which parkrun is best? Currently looking at Drumpellier as it's closest to where I'm staying, and easy to get to with good parking.

Someone did a quick drone video of my usual parkrun

The athletic club were there as one of their runners died recently and this was her usual parkrun.

Had a chap run ours in 17:04 at the w/end! Good 60s to 90s ahead of #2. Not one of the regular runners.
