I just realised it’s tomorrow night, still want Lewis Hamilton to win, he is annoying and F1 seems to be all about money but Six is a great achievement
It's an astonishing performance and when other sports people win the award for having one good year Hamilton has consistently proven to be the best for year after year. That said, he won't win because F1 is not a sport covered by BBC.

It's a public vote therefore the BBC has no input to the final decision. The reason why Lewis won't win is that, despite his achievements, he is not popular amongst the general public.

Yeah and the Ashes and Cricket world cup weren't show on BBC either.

I was being mildly cynical. That said, because F1 is not covered on free to air TV means that the public are less engaged with it as a sport than perhaps we are on what is primarily a motor enthusiast's website.

Will be voting for Ben Stokes later today. His achievements in the Cricket World Cup and in the test match were superb and I do enjoy watching cricket.

F1 highlights are on Channel 4. I read they show the British GP live too.

Lewis does have a lot of people even on here who dislike him. He doesn't need to do much wrong to get hate.

On the other hand Stokes seems like a thoroughly unlikeable, homophobic thug and nobody seems to be remotely interested in his conduct.

If it was a footballer there would be a campaign to have him removed from the voting.

On the popularity stakes, Lewis has 6.5m Twitter followers. Stokes has 699k.

You might be well correct but not in the eyes of the law as he was found not guilty smile

So was Ched Evans and his career was ruined as people still spoke out against him at every opportunity to cause harm. He was guilty before the trial.

People were convinced Stokes was lying in court and the videos are there to see as well. It all seemed a bit dodgy.

He also had other homophobic slurs on his Twitter account.

There was also the very recent pictures of him grabbing this wife by the face. It doesn't look very friendly to me.

This is why I wont vote for him. Yes not guilty and his wife said they were joking but that's just what someone being abused would say. I just think there is enough smoke to assume there is a fire.

Lewis is just a tt. What he has achieved is phenomenal but I hes a sanctimonious childish bore.

KJT gets my vote. Still annoyed the Adam Peaty hasn't had a look in.

Oh heaven forbid someone has a different opinion to you. It is just that, an opinion.

Maybe if the vote doesnt go your way you can have a protest in London.

Why because I said thought someone is a sanctimonious tt? What an incredibly judgemental person you sound like.
