Oh, and let me go ahead an float the standing invitation for any shooters coming to the US. If you are in my area (Louisiana), I have the guns and ammo and land to shoot on, just bring thyself. Once the plague subsides that is, smile
Where in LA are you? I'm going to be in Lake Charles for a wedding in July. I live in CO so have to decide whether to drive or fly.

Do you have anything non plastic? I realise they are mainly "toys" but just asking as I have a bias towards wood. Just love your Glocks, miss living in the States for this reason alone.
Nope. All of these were built and bought for various purposes, and metal/plastic suited.

I was also interested in building my own, which suits metal and plastic - with the exception of the 10/22, everything is from parts.

Apart from maybe a shotgun, my next purchase is likely an M1, M1 carbine, or most likely No.4 Mk1.

I will get a chance in a week or so to use my wife’s photo studio and produce some good pics. For now it’s amateur hour with a not-the-newest iPhone. smile

I will begin with the weapon that makes the lefties’ heads explode...well, perhaps that’s poor phrasing; the one that drives them batty (Corona themed). This AR-15 is an Anderson, built in Hebron Kentucky.

I don’t recall if it is a 1:9 twist. I have a medium cost optic (around $190). The front and rear sights are collapsible and made of billeted aluminum. They are adjusted to co-witness through the optic. I have two 30 round Magpull mags and about six standard sized aluminum mags.

Anderson is not one of the large named manufacturers but more of a family-owned boutique gunmaker. I purchased a 400 round ammo can for about $149.

That looks more like a 40 round mag to me?

I've a dozen 30 round mags - not bad for a state that restricts ownership to 15 round capacity. No, this is not illegal wink But the workarounds necessary to get past the restriction means you either have a couple, or lots, to make it viable.

This is me fireing fast as Jerry M but filmed in super slow mo. Wanted to see what was happening. Goes towards normal speed right at the end. Was still a good group smile

Or, in my case, I can just claim an exemption and get whatever I want.

I see you are in Colorado. I guess you are an expert at legal loopholes and workarounds. Good job. smile

They add expense and time. Which I think is probably a reasonable compromise.
