So the answer to the question is £67,100

Not bad considering I think he's only had 2 years ( I think ) in PDC

The std at lakeside seems to be a lot better tonight

Not too bad, that's just revenue mind, suppose his travel and accommodation costs would be a fair whack.

The 180 counts are increasing at least smile

That appears to be 67k in two years. Not bad. Some big numbers further up the order of merit, too.

I used to play "premier league" pub darts (in this case the league covered about a 20 mile area from the nearest town), I don't think it's unrealistic that I could have beaten about half the women in these world championship's back then .. they are awful.
Men have superior hand to eye coordination. Especially WRT throwing things. Evolutionary innit.

Women are better at intuiting other peoples' emotions. Which is useful but not as cheaply televised, nor as complementary to lager and chicken'n'chips in a basket.

Good game so far, incidentally.

Good standard, neck and neck.

Would encourage anyone to stick it on smile

Well deserved. Cracking final.

Quite emotional that at the end.

See you all next year.

Yes, got to agree I've enjoyed this year's BDO darts. Both men's and women's championships.

The warm up event at the Ally Pally is over and now we have the real pros playing at the Lakeside.

A leg in one of today's matches just took 58 darts. laugh

Because it's darts...it's supposed to be "amateur" and it's the only darts I'll acknowledge...none of this "professional" guff...I look forward to someone throwing a '22'!! hehe

We were watching the final yesterday in the pub. Pretty poor fare to be honest. It really brings home how little money the BBC has to spend on 'sport' if this was being served up. 5 comments on PH this year confirms its popularity ! On the plus side it looked like the fans were genuine 'darts fans' and not the 'Barmy Army' style mob over in the PDC.
