Great race by Thomas!

Well, Froome looked vulnerable there - it was clear Thomas would work for him but after that famous finish, the Team have some strategy thinking to do as Thomas is looking stronger at the moment.

TdM is a freak!

Froome gets stronger as tours go on. There'll be no change at Sky.

Thomas was very humble in his Interview; still riding for Froome in his mind. I guess the Director will make that decision but all good for Team Sky.

Shame about the ignorant 'boo's' from the anti-Sky and Froome idiots. Just proves, many are dumb and even when proven wrong, will always stick to their preferred bias.

Thomas best result in a grand tour is 15th....

Froome is still the favorite, Tom 2nd..

The commentators made no reference to booing which I clearly heard. No?

Nor to spectator in green shorts who made a lunge at Froome in the last few ks.

Seeing various tweets saying things like

- G is the only rider ever to win a summit finish at L'Alpe d'Huez in yellow

- Only 3 riders have ever won back to back summit finishes in the TDF (G, Joop Zoetemelk in 1976 and Fausto Coppi in 1952)

Not bad.

Lot's of booing as mentioned by the Dutch and Belgium reporters both during the race and on stage after the race.

And yes that imbecile of a spectator even physically pushed Froome.

Kruijswijk was followed and harassed by a moron in a Zidane shirt.

The French really should have more police around. The Italians in the Giro do a much better job.

But it's typically French.

Anyone know what happened to nibali? He was knocked off his bike. Was it a spectator that did it?

It’s amazing! I feel like I’m 20 years younger and it’s 1998 again!

Poor Mark Cavendish didn't make the cut he just is not in the form needed to win a stage is he and not sure if the injuries he has had these past few years have caught up on him.Listening to the crowd booing at the end is why I think Sky and Froome are more than happy for Thomas to have the jersey for now. I never thought I would see such behaviour from a cycling crowd but its been coming on for a few years now.
Another great stage tomorrow I wouldn't be at all surprised to see another stage win for Thomas he is in fine form
I think Sky needs to get some "boo if you want us to go faster" T-shirts.

watching Thomas react to every attack comfortably he is easily the strongest man in Team Sky at the moment that was just incredibly impressive the way he took that stage

Simon Yates was looking the same until he folded, but yes he looks very strong, Froome will probably lose time to him in the TT, Dumoulin will not make the current gap to Thomas in the TT, he will need him to crack.

Gaviria just dropped out. What with Groenewegen, Greipel, Kittel, Cav etc. too, I think all the sprinters have abandoned?
Sagan for the win on the Champs-Élysées? Have to say I would love to see that.

Massive ride by Thomas today, he did look good. As he said in the post race interviews it's a long race but he's looking very strong right now.
