That's what I thought too. Good news. Hope they keep the technology going. Sky and Channel 4 did an awful to improve coverage since the beeb last had it
Great to have it free again but sky and 4 have done a lot of innovative stuff. It's not until 2020 I think.

Australian cricketers now unemployed : contract negotiations still stalled.
To be honest I think they have a pretty good case. They are the talent, why should Cricket Aus, remove the players slice of the profit of Cricket Australia, surely the more successful the team, the more money CA make, the more the players get paid.Limiting them to a fixed salary when THEY are the product seems obtuse.
I've been playing a little club cricket after a few years away. Will someone please please please tell me when ridiculous posing became de rigeur for even the least talented of batsmen? Check-drives ending in prolonged statue poses seem to have become the norm; as has flicking bats high over shoulders even after half-hearted front foot mists. Don't get me started on the down-on-one-knee merchants, and those who constantly rehearse classy strokes before backing away and stabbing at the ball like total nobbers.
On Sunday I asked a particularly bad repeat offender if he'd like a full length mirror brought out to the wicket.
Is it just me or has the plot been lost somewhere...? Is this how the selfie-generation plays cricket..?

Watching the T20 Blast on Sky Sports tonight (as you do!).
Andrew Flintoff commentating. Goodness, who decided that because he was a great cricketer, he would make a good commentator. Bloody awful with his thick accent, his "funny" stories and his messing about. Shouldn't be anywhere near a microphone IMO, awful at it.
Babbles away like a babbly thing then frequently gets the score wrong. What exactly does he offer to the experience? Naff all.

Sky had him at the darts a few years back at the Ally Pally - he was awful there too ...Andrew Flintoff commentating. Just enjoying the highlights of Harmanpreet Kaur's knock for India vs Australia. 171 not out off 115 balls, 7 maximums and 20 fours. She was aggression personified and simply destroyed most of the Aussie bowling with shots all around the ground. To borrow a phrase from someone I used to play with, she "mooed it and mowed it". Chapeau!
