On the subject of Worcestershire, they're on Sky right now. Or rather, it's just finished - Lancashire (aided by a 50 from Jos Buttler) have won a rather strange low-scoring game.
I like the "double-header" T20 games that we've had lately, with the women playing first, with their game also covered by Sky, giving them some welcome airtime. Surrey beat Lancashire, and again it was a low scoring game on what appeared to be a good surface.
Those of us who have time during the day to enjoy cricket have had a good season so far, and Sky's coverage has been excellent. The "pod" for the commentators and pundits works well, and they've had some high-profile guests. Andrew Flintoff is always good fun on air, particularly if his old Lancashire coach David "Bumble" Lloyd is on commentary, and today we had the very lovely Ellyse Perry. The T20 tournament has been entertaining, and is coming nicely to a climax, which isn't a phrase I thought I would ever use on Pistonheads.
And tomorrow we have the first Test against the West Indies, and it's a day/nighter. Which would have been an even better spectacle, and more of a challenge for England were it not for the never ending dispute between the West Indies cricketing hierarchy and their star players, which sees most of the big names staying at home for their T20 series. The main interest in the series for me is whether we can find an opening batsman to partner Cook, and fill the number 3 slot, but the West Indies aren't likely to provide the kind of opposition that we need before an Ashes series.

Please don't make me go home
(I think!)
By the way, in all of the hubbub in the Yorkshire v Northants game, it slipped by almost unnoticed that Kent's opening stand of 207 was a world record for a T20 opening partnership. The Yorkshire game was mad though, hell of an innings by Lyth.
