Benn watching women's rugby but seems like there's been some fireworks tonight! Just tuned in so I can almost guarantee a damp squib whistle

2 down in 9 balls...

I'm an even happier Hampshire fan now!

It wouldn't be Finals Day without us!

What words are the crowd signing to 'achy breaky heart' tune

All i can get is' i dont want to go to work'
Don't take me home
Please don't take me home
I just don't want to go to work
I wanna stay here
Drinking all the beer
Please don't make me go home

(I think!)

By the way, in all of the hubbub in the Yorkshire v Northants game, it slipped by almost unnoticed that Kent's opening stand of 207 was a world record for a T20 opening partnership. The Yorkshire game was mad though, hell of an innings by Lyth.
not quite, this song was the bane of my life in france at the euros last summer, so annoying with all the scummy england fans (before anyone comments im english) its either drink all your beer, or sniff all your gear, followed by please dont make me go. (the last home is superflous

Considering Blowers is about to retire shouldn't Boycott have done this years back as an old fashioned person who is a bit of a tt when you consider what he has done and said over the years?

Aussies struggling against the might of Bangladesh.

If only their Cricket board would cough up some more cash, then maybe the crims would take some pride in their jobs?

Australia lose to Bangla in a test match... well that is a decent sign for the Ashes series. I don't like Warner, latest in a long line of Aussie batsman I struggle to like.

Congrats to Bangla, fantastic effort

Good finish to the innings there. 190 is a big target.

Flipping mad this T20. Good sport and daft behaviour all round. Great Saturday entertainment.

It was a good event but as a neutral spectator none of the games were great sadly. None of the chasing teams looked like getting the totals, losing early wickets and having mountains to climb.

Is anyone on Sangakkara watch here? He's just chalked up his 8th ton of the season, and has now scored a hundred off each of the other first division counties this season, except Hampshire. In 13 innings, he's got 1,400 runs with twice as many hundreds as any other batsman in Division One.

And he retires from first class cricket at the end of the week!

His innings this season: 71, 46, 136, 105, 114, 120, 200, 84, 4, 26, 180 not out, 164, 119 not out

Pretty amazing really.

Apart from being a top class batsman Sangakkara has been very useful for Surrey this year, almost single handedly saving them from relegation. Stoneman looking good too.
