Spence was incredible last night...i expected him to win but not that easy.his angle changes up close were sublime...

I dont kniw eho is next but everyone seems to be calling for the thurman fight.....spence sll day long for me there .

That kid brown on the undercard looked great....and at light heavy turning into one of the most interesting divisions he will be a welcome addition at the top table
Just watched Spence. He really is a beautifully balanced fighter.

So......next saturday is the day.....usyk is fighting (in my opinion) the biggest threat at cruiserweight...these 2 are #1 and #2 .....ive championed briedis for years now and have been fortunate enough to see him on the bellew undergrad at the echo.......

Tom little is going to get annihilated on the undercard. Whoever decided he should fight hrgovic needs to have a word with themselves....

Anyway,....i think usyk will win but I won't be surprised if briedis and his beautiful uppercut and hooks find their home with enough power to turn it in his favour....if he can knock out heavyweights.....

Spence v Peterson, what a performance...

Who next, Garcia??
He was asked about Amir Khan in the press conference, there was a lot of laughter... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zu9MqENpqk

He has said he feels he can go up in weight, up-to 160 maximum.

A long shot, I know...

...but apparently Andre Ward tweeted recently that he's currently weighing in at 199lbs and in good shape. Also, that he's working on something big. Obviously there was talk about him going up to heavyweight to fight Joshua but that always felt somewhat unlikely...however, him taking on the winner of the Cruiserweight tournament to try and become the No#1 in a third weight division doesn't seem beyond the realms of possibility.

saw that this morning pal,

is he big enough to go to cruiser?....6 or 7 years ago i'd have said yes(in a weaker division) but guys like usyk and briedis are on the cusp of being able to fight at heavyweight..don't forget briedis already holds a chilling knockout over heavyweight wba regular belt holder manuel charr.....i just don't think he's big enough for these guys.....but then at this stage in his career does he really want to be mixing it with the new young lions at light heavy in bivol and beterbiev??...relative unknowns which would look bad on his ledger if he lost to...

maybe adonis stevenson ??!!!

His weight seems to be going in the wrong direction for Stevenson...unless the point of his tweet was that after retiring he’d ballooned up to 250lbs or something and was now getting in shape and therefore had come back down to 199lbs! hehe

Maybe it would be an idea to go after Lebedev first, who, while still being tough as old boots, looks more beatable than any of the guys left in the Cruiserweight tournament. That way he could get a taste of the division before stepping in with one of the ‘stone cold killers’ as you like to call them!

Beat Lebedev and Ward can then decide whether he calls it quits having picked up a world title at a third weight (as Lebedev still holds the WBA ‘super’ belt, despite losing to Gassiev) or goes for a proper ‘clean sweep’ unification with the WBSS winner; lose and he’ll know Cruiserweight is not for him whilst probably avoiding being launched into orbit in the process…

Contender series is coming back! This was a very good show I wonder what weight it will be at. Light middle could be a good shout, Liam Williams and Sam egginton in it from the UK would make for some real fan friendly fights.

And say BT/box nation pick it up they’d be the action sport channel then with Boxing, UFC, rugby, football etc dominating the schedule leave cricket, darts and golf to Sky then with the occasional AJ fight.

defo mate, a fight against lebedev would be great for him i reckon.....he'd look great in that that fight........and after that maybe stick him in with one of this era's "murderers row" biglaugh

in reality guys like bivol are still very green so a match up against a past prime ward would catch the new guy on the way up and the old guy on the way down.....that formula seemed to work well with wlad/aj!

saw a documentary about this outfit before christmas. the fella that started it is a scouser ex-security bloke. they have come on pretty strong over the last couple of years...starting in working mens clubs but now putting shows on at the echo eek

not quite back to the golden era of the 1700's but interesting none the less!
