Fatter grips are great if your hands are a bit overactive during the swing - for instance my right hand has a habit of taking over on the way through, and adding some tape underneath the bottom half of the grip has quietened it down immensely.
I've got the usual Golf Pride MCC's with two wraps of tape on the bottom hand - the MCC +4's give a similar effect.
Not a fan of them on putters though. They do lock your hands in place well, but I struggle to feel too much through impact.
Interesting to hear you say that about the putter and loss of feel, I've noticed that since going to a Superstroke 3. I've got the usual Golf Pride MCC's with two wraps of tape on the bottom hand - the MCC +4's give a similar effect.

I didn't see the point in buying a new one as my old two ball copy worked fine so I got them to change the grip, it's taken me about three months to get properly used to the soft feel and get my stroke to the right strength to get my distances right again, working fine now though.

You seem quite salty. One of the all time legends of the game returning from serious injury/time out and holding his own is of course newsworthy for the sport.
Not to mention that TW is the reason a lot of people got into golf in the first place, and still the favourite of many.
This is now a tradition, and a good one at that. Not to mention that TW is the reason a lot of people got into golf in the first place, and still the favourite of many.
His comeback is an annual event, and usually lasts about three weeks, before he walks off the 6th at the Dayton Classic +4 for the round. The media get two huge bites each time, golf gets a ratings boost, and the guys who are playing much much better golf than Tiger has for the last 10 years (and their sponsors) get ignored for a month.

First time since 2013 that it's looking like it might work though, physically it's holding together and to be keeping pace with the best in the world after a long layoff suggests there's no reason he can't still win on tour.
This is why it's such good TV. It usually goes like this. If he was immediately pants it wouldn't work half as well.Long way to go yet, it's only Friday morning...
Can't help there is something a bit different for this comeback - I've never seen the guy look so relaxed, or seen him enjoy his golf for so long. If his back holds up, and he gets a few more rounds under his belt to get back in the groove round the greens - I can definitely see him winning again. And no reason why that can't include a major.
That's how I saw it, last couple of "comebacks" he's been visibly struggling, slow swing etc and it just seemed like a formality. This year he genuinely looks to be going after the ball and no sign of limitations. Couple of duffed chips but short game is always the first to struggle, and apparently that grass when damp is a nightmare for chipping (I wouldn't know)

High on Tramadol. Press conference will be great when he tries to crowd surf on all the orange penguins with dildo microphones

It was so good to see yesterday, nailing a 2 iron from 265yards, driving well, putting well etc!
I was the 1st to think he would never be competitive again but after yesterday there is no doubt in my mind that he is back. Very impressive to do what he did with all that pressure. Just hope is back continues to hold up.
He was on something stronger than Tramadol, i can't begin to imagine what it must be like to be in constant pain. No wonder he is now smiling as he is now pain free!

Like lots of geniuses I suppose.
4 under for Tiger today. In contention for the weekend
Great to see him back and striking the ball so well. It was his putting which let him down a little bit today, unusual for him. I really hope he wins another major, would be one of the greatest sporting comebacks of all time given the advancements in the game & other players while he's been out injured

Must admit I am a new convert to simulators - recently joined The Chase Golf Club in Staffordshire on a Twilight deal to compliment my existing membership (plus the OH has joined the Gym there) and spent last Saturday afternoon in their simulator there. Only did a gapping session, but the guys before me had a round of Augusta with some beers, which sounds much more like it this time of year!
The gapping session itself was excellent - the pro was a bit busy, so I was pretty much left to my own devices, which I preferred as I could try stuff going through the bag, and it was incredible to see the results of the work I've been doing over the summer on my swing - especially spin numbers, which have reduced to "excessive" from "taking the piss". Still much higher than I'd like (hitting 9,000 rpm with a 9 iron, which isn't great), but could see the end results of what I had been trying in the simulator. Lots of positives however, for instance my smash factor (or efficiency as they called it) was the same for each club - 1.22 on wedges, 1.35 on irons and 1.45 on the driver, so am at least hitting the middle of the club face.
It's also great to know how far I actually hit a club - and I've also figured out now why I usually miss short - turns out I don;t hit my irons as far as I thought....

Bodhi those are fixed numbers, GC2 can only workout real smash if your clubs have all those dots on them. The important thing to check is ball speed, as that is a real measured number. I think Sims are great, everyone, should do a GAP test IMO.
Quest is where Pete Finch and Rick Shiels are isn't it? Really like them both from YT.
