£5 EW on Kuch at 60/1 - hope he keeps it up!

Also have £2.5 ew on Thomas Pieters at 150/1 as an outside possibility.

That's a canny bet. If you don't win, I can't see it being by far.

Had a few each way pay outs on him at the Masters, his Open form is probably why he was out at 60, but I just know he'll win his first major when I don't bet on him... like DJ did frown

The big regret is Bubba... 200/1 at the start, couldn't figure out why but assumed there must be something wrong with him. Clearly not.

There's been plenty wrong, nearly outside of the Top 50 in the world now.

She wanted to spend more time with her family apparently. New presenter is pretty good to be fair.

Just on my way back from the open now.

Too much booze and sun, but a great day.

Followed Rose and Fleetwood early on, the sat at the 6th green/7th tee for a bit, and then spent the rest of the afternoon on the left of the 13th fairway in the sun. Finished the day watching the last 6 groups come in at 18.

Loved it.

We spent over an hour in the stand at the 13th in the sun , it was great to relax a bit after being on your feet all day.

Saw Bubba get his birdie , and a few birdie chances missed by others , so not to bad overall.

Was on the 5 th when Johnson hit his ball in the stand and it bounced onto the green ,mice checked the BBC video and you can clearly see me ducking down.

A fantastic day out , I'd defy anyone to criticise the organisation, it's bloody marvellous.

Made a point of thanking the stewards , all 1200 volunteers of them.

They do a cracking job.

Agreed. It's brilliantly run.

We were sat at the landing point for the drives on the 13th. Was there trouble left of the pin? Most of the approaches were 20ft right of the pin.

Quite an interesting matchplay at the top. Spieth has a big carrot to do this, as does Kuchar, who has never got a major.

Routing for Kuchar as older and never done it, us Brits love the underdog. Jordan seems a nice chap though. both will be brilliant winners.

There's been some big movers so far today. Haotong Li up 26 places to T3, Xander Schauffele ( great name, sounds like something they would make on the Great British Bake off in the final ) is up 36 places.

Haotong Li finishes on -76 and a round of 63. He really was off the radar.

I hope the BBC have been following him, hardly any comments on radio 5 live apart from the fact they said he was -6. Perhaps nobody from the BBC following him around.

He had a 31 in and birdies the last 4 holes .......... eek

With the way Speith and Kuchar are playing at the moment he could even win it!

Twice now Spieth would have been in the bushes if it wasn't for the crowds stopping his ball.

Amazing, Speith gets away with just a bogey after all that.
