Bristol march on. Didn't think Dragons offered much after the initial stages. Bordeaux or Edinburgh next. Shame we are are not allowed in to see it!
Semi Radandra is something else, isn't he? Bristol look like a very effective team this season.

Yes he is a perfect fit in the Bristol system. Mind you we have dangerous runners who can make defences look silly all over the place these days. Onwards and upwards!

Let's just hope "upwards" doesn't apply to their direction from the salary cap limit! There are a lot of pretty high salaries in that squad now, no?

So they should be!

They have certainly had enough money spent on them!

Well Glos haven't exactly been shy in the transfer market and it hasn't helped us, so it's not a linear relationship!

Leinster not in the game at all. Saracens pretty much flawless. Got to be happy with a 19 point lead going in at half time!

Well done Sarries! Thought Leinster were poor, particularly at scrum time.

There are plenty of fairly low salaries to balance it out. A lot of the Bristol team are players other clubs didn't want, Thacker for example, or academy players. Several were championship players until Mr Lam came calling.

Maybe, although Piutau, Luatua, Hughes and Sinckler alone are reputed to make up getting on for £2.7m between them!

Toulouse v Ulster.

Toulouse 5-0 after 4 minutes.

Why didn't they take the knee before kick off?

Pastures new for Exeter next weekend playing in the semi final, they’re going to have to play better than they did this evening though to stand a chance against Toulouse.

Perilous position Gloucester find themselves in; Lance Bradley suggests Glos plus another five or six clubs can’t survive another 6 months without paying supporters.

I can’t believe that some of the championship sides haven’t already gone under. Surely there’s no short term future for them?

Toulouse are making Exeter look a bit shabby and most un-Exeter-like at the moment.

Either Toulouse have done their homework or their natural game works very well against Exeter.

Exeter have got back on top really well - Toulouse just couldn't maintain the effort.

Exeter have been excellent. Once they smell the try line they turn into a mincing machine.

Agreed - they are both truly scary and very effective.

I would give my right arm to see 10% of that discipline and drive be shown by Gloucester this season.

On the whole, both French teams were bang average. The only difference between the matches was that Exeter had the stronger XV and squad, which meant that they could just squeeze and wait for the implosion.
