Just the Times who seem to be speculating this at the moment, but it would be nice to have someone who has actually done some defence stuff before! hehe

More seriously, we really need someone quickly, or we’re going to miss out on the chance to recruit anyone for next season...

What a game.

Can someone point to the significant Garces decisions that swung the game in Cardiff's favour please?
Well, I saw a brilliant Gloucester try disallowed for a forward pass that clearly wasn’t. And the Cardiff kick through try was a long way offside (even though he called for the tmo and it wasn’t reviewed properly). Was a big swing in a tight game. But kept it close and exciting for neutrals right to the end. Enjoyed it.
The kick chaser looked level to me and Austin Healy. Agree on the forward pass.

But the ref didn't contribute to Gloucester's lack of fitness, Cardiff's change of tactics and the winger's brain fart at the end.

Hoping for Leinster to find another gear again now against Racing. Huge day for Larmour on the wing, but I believe he’ll shine today

Be great if Nacewa can sign-off with a fourth European win, for me the best player ever to come to Ireland

Hope for a Leinster win also. I think the pro 14 is really getting into its stride now and great rugby being played.
It was only a couple of years ago when someone on here stated"What's the point of the pro12"

Made me laugh then as it still does now.

Good on the ref setting a clear time limit. Too much fannying around on kicking at the posts.

I'd be lying if I said Leinster deserved that, very tough on Racing.

Terrible final, but (in my biased view) Leinster played the best rugby in Europe this season. Nice to have that fourth star now

Good results for the PRO14 teams , both European
Cups!

I imagine leinster will be favourites for the PRO14 title
As well.

Hopefully it’s Warriors though! 8*)

Leinster may be favourites on paper, but I’m already bracing myself for a below par perfomance against Munster next weekend, due to the expected European Cup hangover. Will be interesting to see what team Cullen goes with though, although I believe Lowe had been promised a start due to not being available for the Racing match

Quick question - has Lancaster been in the English papers much lately? For me, and many other Leinster fans, he was the missing ingredient required to help us get over the MOC years. A brilliant addition to the team, and from what I can tell he seems to be relishing his time over here now. Much talk of the Cullen/Lancaster partnership perhaps taking over the Ireland team should JS decide to move on after RWC19

He did an interview with Sky Sports, shown today. They asked if he was interested in the Harlequins job and he said he'd be at Leinster next season "100%".

Hopefully. I don’t believe we’d be back to the level we’re at without him, and the future looks fairly bright now with the age profiles of many of the regulars

Scarlets through to the Celtic League final again. I’m finding it hard to call tomorrow’s other semi, but think Leinster will still have too much for Munster even without JS running the show

On a side note, James Ryan still hasn’t lost a professional game of rugby, 21 not out so far for the 21 year old

Pretty much every Glos fan in favour - very few dissenters on Twitter / ShedWeb.

Looking forwards to seeing him play in our back line.

I thought they have given notice that they are to be banned.

Stats show significantly more injures in matches played on artificial pitches.

Really? I know they'd shown they cause more injuries, but hadn't seen anything about banning them.
