And not, as was briefly rumoured, at Quins, thank God!

Having to cheer his stupid, arrogant belly flop celebration would've been unbearable!

to be fair I've got mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, Rugby is in the entertainment business and as such things like swan-dives etc do add to the spectacle (no matter how chavvy), also he still seems to be one of the better trackers of the ball that we have (I'd still prefer Wade and Roko but CA isn't a bad option to have). The other issue is the swan dive is a little tacky and (potentially) risky as this Japanese player found out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T9JMlVfA_Y

Sad news but the right decision. You can only put your body on the line so many times as he did.

I see reports today of Shaun Edwards going back to RL as head coach at Wigan after the RWC 2019.

A plumsack indeed - however as EJ picks on form and not on what happens off-field so he (and we as England) could ok

Well, the dream of seeing Cips turn out for Glos and bring even more sparkle to our back line was brief and glorious.

But never actually materialised. What a muppet, I mean, does he never learn?

In many cases, yes, but surely not here. He'd already got so much baggage, so to add this on and still come through? I just can't see it, and that's assuming he doesn't actually get a custodial sentence for all of that lot!

Even if he doesn't, I expect / hope Glos will drop him - like you said; it's along list of charges, not least the resisting arrest one, which always goes down really well with magistrates.
