Uran is having a great tour. I wonder what he can do in the TT?

On his day, Uran is very very good, but he has to be on it. If he is, he will run Froome very close. Badet and Aru - pretty hopeless at the TT event, however this is the Tour...

I feel Froome needs to show himself tomorrow, pretty dull not winning a stage and winning the Tour ;-)

Quick question. I've seen riders take wheels from the neutral Mavic service bikes/cars but never seen anyone take a bike. I would have thought this was quite hard due to sizes/build etc.

Does anyone know of any riders that have taken one as that was all there was at the time?
Pretty sure I read somewhere that they were fitting dropper posts to the neutral service bikes this year so that anyone could jump on and get (roughly) the right seat height. Obviously doesn't solve the reach or pedal issues but would prevent a repeat of the Froome situation from last year

Was in Cycling Weekly. They also have bikes with Look, Shimano and Speedplay pedals

I think they started on mountain bikes where the extra weight is not such an issue, and it makes a big difference when descending on technical stuff that you have a lot more space to let the bike move under you/ you can get off the back of the saddle. While still keeping height on the saddle for the ascent.

GCN did a video last week in regards to the Mavic car and the bikes on the roof. Apparently on one of them they have bikes setup for the 3 GC leaders including saddle height and pedals.

Although I thought Froome was given a bike with the wrong pedals last year up Ventoux hence why he got rid of it.

EDIT... Above, i must read all comments before posting.

I've missed a couple of days, and the highlights shows, sadly. Will catch some of today's stage. Hopefully it will kick off on the final climb.

Team Sky have 3 or 4 riders who could challenge for GC. Strength in depth is incredible.

Uran is a beast.

ETA. Wondering if Uran thinks he can win this on the TT.

Maybe he is, but he's happy just to follow. Doesn't deserve to win. Landa looked like he was enjoying the scenery - will do some damage next year at Movistar. Time Trial could still be interesting, seeing as Uran has ridden so conservatively. Awesome ride from Barguil.

Uran is a wheel sucker.

Froome will destroy him in the ITT.
