Sports Charity?

Anybody got any experience of a decent UK sports charity. (I'm looking to do RideLondon as a charity place)
Thinking of something where they encourage kids to do sports outside of school. Or fund youth development in athletics or something
Football is obviously covered by the FA (with the TV billions) And our various Elite Olympic programmes are Lottery funded. I imagine other larger sports (Rugby, Tennis etc) fund their own development
